Happy Winter, Merry Christmas And Happy New Year
The MVOP Board of Directors hopes everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This will bring you up to date as to activities in the neighborhood and what your Board of Directors has been doing.
The Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Washington Mill Elementary School. There were approximately 11 families (excluding Board of Directors) present at the meeting. The meeting went smoothly and each of the Board of Directors provided a report to the Association. The minutes of the Annual Meeting are available on request from any Board member.
Additionally, the Editor position for the Association Newsletter is open. Anyone wishing to prepare the Association Newsletter should contact Ted Breiner.
Again, we hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday season.
AAA Trash Collection Schedule for the 2009 Holidays
Christmas Day - Friday, December 25th, AAA will not be servicing trash and recycling on this holiday. Friday RECYCLING - a special pick-up day for RECYCLING will be scheduled for Saturday, December 26, 2009. Please have the recycling bins out by 6 am.
New Years Day - Friday, January 1st, AAA will not be servicing trash and recycling on this Holiday. Friday RECYCLING - a special pick-up day for RECYCLING will be scheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2010. Please have the Recycling bin out by 6 am.
Christmas Tree Removal - AAA will be removing Christmas Trees on the day AAA removes MVOP yard waste for the first 2 weeks in January 2010 - THAT IS ON WEDNESDAYS FOR MVOP. Please note that Christmas trees in excess of 8 feet in length need to be cut in half in order to be removed by AAA crews. After Friday, January 15th, trees will be removed with the regular trash collection (Monday or Thursday).
